Located in the heart of Boston, Zo Greek Cuisine has quickly become a local favorite for those seeking the authentic flavors of Greece. From the moment you step in, the vibrant aromas of grilled meats and fresh ingredients envelop you, setting the stage for a delightful culinary experience.
Customers rave about the originals, particularly the gyro, where tender, juicy pork is enveloped in a soft pita, layered with fresh tomatoes, onions, and a generous helping of creamy tzatziki. Lenhart Vo describes it as “delicious,” while Mike Deroche candidly emphasizes the joy and messiness of this delightful feast, suggesting a roll of paper towels for your visit.
Beyond gyros, the menu boasts items like the savory chicken pita and refreshing kale salad. Randall Cook praises the lentil soup and baklava, indicating that there’s something for everyone, whether you’re dropping in for a quick lunch or taking food to go. The service is notably fast, making it an excellent option for those exploring the bustling downtown area.
With limited seating, Zo is designed for takeout, making it perfect for a meal on the run. Overall, Zo Greek Cuisine offers a snapshot of Greek culinary traditions infused with the vibrancy of Boston, making it a must-try for any food lover.

Zo is one of my two go-to places for gyros. Both of their brick-and-mortar locations, and their food truck, have some of the best gyros you'll find in the area. My favorite is the "original": pork gyro meat with tomato, onion, and tzatziki wrapped in a soft pita. The meat is that salty and savory, complimented by the brightness of the tomatoes and onions. Everything is pulled together and cooled down with a smothering of tzatziki. These gyros are messy. Don't bring a first-date here unless you want to look like you're incapable of feeding yourself. On your way out, stop at CVS and pick up a roll of paper towels just so you can keep your composure while you feast. Service here is *fast*. If there's a line out the door, don't let it deter you... they fly through the line. There is extremely limited seating in all of the locations, it's meant to be a takeout place.

Outstanding Greek food in downtown Boston. Delicious, well-prepared items. They have some counter space inside, or you can do takeout. Their kale salad and lentil soup were excellent. And the baklava was a real treat. So glad we picked this place over sweetgreen.

I ordered at the wrong location on UberEats (there’s another one in Downtown?!) but the owner willingly called them and made me another one so I wouldn’t have to walk. Also did I mention that the food was great?
